On the Heels of Poll Showing Siddall as Best Positioned to Defeat George Gascón, Respected Former Long Beach Mayor Backs Siddall’s Campaign

LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, immediate past vice president of the Los Angeles Association of Deputy District Attorneys, current Los Angeles County deputy district attorney, and candidate for Los Angeles County District Attorney, Eric Siddall, announced he has received the endorsement of former Mayor of Long Beach Robert Foster. Foster remains an influential political figure serving as the Mayor of Long Beach from 2006 to 2014 after a notable career in the energy sector including leadership at Southern CAlifornia Edison.

In announcing his endorsement of Eric Siddall, former Mayor of Long Beach Robert Foster released the following statement of support:

Siddall’s endorsement from the past mayor of the second Largest City in LA County follows his announcement just yesterday that a poll of likely voters shows him as the strongest candidate to defeat George Gascón. According to the memo, "The survey finds that in a crowded field of unknown challengers, Prosecutor Eric Siddall stands out as a strong contender... Among the rest of the field, Eric Siddall is the only candidate who is able to increase his level of support beyond single digits after voters received statements of similar length that provided positive information about each candidate."

FM3 Research added, "Eric Siddall is a strong general election candidate who would likely defeat George Gascón in a head-to-head matchup."
